On 17th October 2024, the Honourable Opposition Leader Dasho Pema Chewang has made his first official visit to Dagana Dzongkhag, accompanied by National Council Member Dasho Birendra Chimoria and Member of Parliament Dasho Sonam Dorji. The meeting included participants from Dzongkhag Sectors Heads, Regional heads, Daga and Gesarling CS, Dagapela and Dagana Hospital, LG members from eleven Gewogs, and also business communities of Dagapela and Dagana.
