Brief History of School

Samey Primary School was established as extended classroom at Phendogang, Bazingkha in the year 1987.The school was run by two teachers for about two years and was shifted to Tashigang just below the present school (below the feeder road). The school is 5km away from the Dzongkhag. It has an area of 12.472 acre with registered thram no. 125. It is located in Tseza Gewog under Dagana Dzongkhag.

World Food Program assisted the school with two meals (breakfast and Lunch) till 2018. After the withdrawal of WFP, the Royal Government of Bhutan continues to supply school feeding for the school from 2019 academic session with the stipend of Nu 670 per child per month as day feeding school.
