24th August 2018, Dagapela. Dagana Dzongkhag Administration launched 5 local farm products. The products included Pulses ( Vacuum packed), Mustard Oil, Maize Product ( value added Tengma-Flattened Maize), Bamboo shoot Pickle and Honey. 
The main objective of the launch was to promote farm based enterprises in the Dzongkhag for the benefit of our farmers and the consumers at large. Development of farm based enterprise would offer our farmers an opportunity to earn cash income while consumers will have access to quality farm products. It is gonna be a win-win situation for both.However in order for these farm enterprises to evolve and sustain, there is a need to foster healthy relationship between producers and consumers. Therefore the occasion was also used for bolstering relationship between two. 
The event was graced by Venerable Lam Neten as a Chief Guest. Dasho Dzongdag, Dasho Drangpon, senior officials, Regional Heads and Gewog officials participated in the program as guests.
Five local Farmers' Groups brought their local products ( Processed Products) for display and sale during the launch
