𝓟𝓻𝓸𝓯𝓮𝓼𝓼𝓲𝓸𝓷𝓪𝓵𝓲𝓼𝓶 𝓪𝓷𝓭 𝓜𝓲𝓷𝓭𝓼𝓮𝓽 𝓲𝓷 𝓟𝓾𝓫𝓵𝓲𝓬 𝓢𝓮𝓻𝓿𝓲𝓬𝓮

Dasho Chewang Rinzin, Director for Royal Institute for Governance and Strategic Studies gave a profound presentation on the “Professionalism and Mindset in Public Service” to the civil servants of Dagana Dzongkhag Administration on 17 June 2021.

The presentation which highlighted on the definitions of professionalism, seven attributes of professionalism and four types of mindsets of civil servants is a highly relevant and a must-attend talk for today’s civil servants.

As a civil servant, one must possess required qualification and training, build on one’s competency, be conscientious, be truthful and adhere to principles and values, be accountable for one’s own action, regulate one’s emotions and look the part to build and raise the standard of professionalism. As our belief shapes our thought and thought influences our action, Dasho articulated on the need to inculcate servant-leader mindset, growth mindset, problem-solving mindset and entrepreneurial mindset to be a better and productive civil servant.

Dasho’s inspirational talk on the Professionalism and Mindset in Public Service would go a long way in fulfilling the Royal vision of transforming Civil Servants.
