On 9 March 2019,  Department of Information Technology and Telecom (DITT) in collaboration with Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) and Alpha Design Technology Pvt. Ltd. (ADTL) had successfully installed Very Small Aperture Terminal (VSAT) at Dagana Dzongkhag Disaster Emergency Operation Centre for establishing emergency telecommunication services using South Asia Satellite (SAS). Currently we checked video conferencing application and  in future, IP phone and internet will be introduced.
